Rain Rain Go Away

I need some sunshine here...come on, Millersville...gimmie a break.

I gotta go to work - yes, at 8 in the morning - so I'll fully update this later.

If I feel like it

Here It Goes Again...

Change of plans. For those of you who are fully informed about what's going on, you know how retarded it is.

Moving out today. Laura and Dan are gonna come get me and my stuff in about 2-3 hours. Then I live with Laura until the 25th of August, when I move into my apartment with Chas and Rian.

So for right now, send my birthday cards to 24 University Drive Millersville, PA 17551.

And don't worry about me. I got this. I'll be fine.

*Jaws Theme Song*

Nevermind the last entry.

I don't have a loan.

Everyone who knows me knows that my life tends to take drastic turns.

It did. Again.

I'm going to Millersville, but under my own dollar. Payment plan. Woo.

I'm living in Brookwood with Chas and whomever else would like to share a roof with us. We have space for two more people.

I'm moving out of my house by August 1st.

My parents and I are on business terms only.

This is gonna be interesting...

Learn to be Shy and then you can Sting

Well, I've done it.
I've become like most of the rest of America.
I got a huge loan.
It's like...20 zillion times more than I'm making.
Because I'm going to college.
And my parents can't pay for it.
Even though they co-signed.
Which is awesome.
Yeah.
I owe lots of money now.
It's kinda cool actually because now I don't feel indebted to my parents for ANYTHING.
Me=Independent.

PS if you didn't hear the news, I'm going back to Millersville in the fall. It's my home. I want to keep it that way.
PPS it really wasn't that hard to accept that I'm gonna be paying $114 a month and then more after college. it's more like an investment than anything else. so if your alternative is to not go to college, don't do that. get a loan. you'll be happier.

I Had A Dream That Mystery Was Me

The writing prompt for today, given by Creative Writing Prompts.com, is #83:

"What reward would you like to give yourself after you write 500 words?"

The first thing that pops into my head is the current craving, which is Nora Roberts books. I’d love to get “The Perfect Neighbor” (my all-time favorite), or the dark pink book that has “Best-Laid Plans” and “Loving Jack” in it. I forget what it’s called. The next reward I would like would be a trip to Burger King right now. I’m really craving a Whopper.

A reward for writing 500 words can’t be too big, but I wouldn’t mind perfect weather for tomorrow (I’m going to Six Flags). Other rewards that fall into the small, easily-accomplished category is for my swimsuit to not malfunction, a bag of butterscotch candy, or a vividly fantastic dream tonight.

I’d like a Princess Bride dvd; that’d be nice. I’d like the necessary wires and such to hook my stereo speakers up to my laptop. Those seem a little big for just 500 words. Some Turkey Hill iced tea would be nice. Southern Sweet Tea, please. A pretty pink nail polish; all I have is a super light one and a couple of dark reds. What’s ten bucks to ya? 500 words?

A pack of crayons would be cool. A cupcake. The “Into the Woods” soundtrack. A pack of cheap bic pens so customers stop stealing my expensive ones. A mug of really really good coffee tomorrow morning. Amaretto syrup, please. A shoulder massage.

Pink staples for my stapler. A light-green headband. A spiffy flowerpot for my ivy plant, Alan. I’d love to have my kitty back. I’d like a poster of Jack Johnson, Casting Crowns, or Relient K.

I’d like an authentic signed photo from any of the following: Angelina Jolie, Alan Rickman, George Lucas, Harrison Ford, Barbra Streisand, Jim Davis, Johnny Depp, or Cary Elwes.

I would like to not fight with Chas for two weeks. Is that worth 500 words, or is that too much?

I’d like to go to the beach.

I would like to get accepted at Drexel.

I’d like to take out a loan and get a car.

If I write 500 words, can I never have to go to the dentist again?

It would be neat if Chas, Reva, or Zach called me tonight just to talk, even if I’m asleep. That would be worth 500 words, I think.

I’d like a small, light desk lamp for my vanity table, which has become my scrapbooking table. I’d like the next dvd Blockbuster sends me (Wallace and Gromit) to be worthwhile and funny. I’d like 88.9 FM to come in on my stereo instead of being stupid static. I’d like y100 to come back. I’d like to wake up and get ready while listening to Preston and Steve. 500 words should be worth a good hair day, right?

It’d be neat to see someone I know and miss tomorrow at the park.

I’d like to be allowed to burn incense in the house (my dad has this thing where his house burned completely to the ground three times when he was a kid…so no candles/incense/fire/etc in the house is allowed). I’d like someone else to clean my sink, mirror, and toilet instead of me. I’d like my trash to be taken out and my desk dusted. French toast tomorrow for breakfast would be awesome and totally worth 500 words.

I’d like my mom to stop freaking out about monkeys on her car and just go on the safari drive tomorrow. But that is totally worth like a thousand words or something because it ain’t gonna happen.

Alright, that’s 588 words. I’d better get something good! =P
